Mr.2/Bon Kurei is the second highest ranked Officer Agent of Baroque Works, and is one of Crocodile's inner circle. Little is known about his background or true name, but he is a sterotypical okama (gay person) and acts in an extremely flamboyant manner. He is rather tall, drabbed in large blue "clown pants", ballet shoes, and a large pink overcoat with the kanji for "okama way" embossed on the back. Mr.2/Bon Kurei also has a 'male' and 'female' pair of plastic swan necks attatced to his back, and he has an odd crown adorned with various coloured spheres. His face is always heavily covered in make-up, but not even the strongest of cosmetics can hide his rounded, cleft chin. He shaves his legs but not frequently, as evident by the hair stubs that blanket his exposed legs.
Unlike many other Devil Fruit users in One Piece, Mr.2/Bon Kurei's Devil Fruit has little if any combat use; his power from the Mane Mane (Clone Clone) Fruit allow him to assume the appearence of any person he has touched, initiated with a thought and a touch of his right hand. When his opposite cheek is touched by his left hand, he changes back. This transformation is not an illusion, but a physical change, right down to voice tone and physical attributes; in his first appearence, he turns into Nami and exposes her (his) bare chest to the Straw Hat Crew.
Mr.2/Bon Kurei values friendship intensely but puts his contractual obligations first; he is pained to learn the Straw Hat Crew, whom he befriended, were in fact Baroque Works (and therefore his) enemies, but he follows Crocodile's plan thoroughly (and to great success) anyway. He is defeated by Sanji while trying to waylay Princess Vivi, but he accepts his defeat as fair and considers the loss an explusion from his Baroque Works ties. In the aftermath of the Arabasta Civil War, he captures the Straw Hat Crew's ship, the Going Merry, and returns it to them as insurance against both himself and his friends getting caught by the Marines.
He was captured by Hina the Black Cage while defending the Straw Hat's escape, but managed to evade his captors and became a vagabond. Investigating the whereabouts of his Baroque Works associates, he infiltrated an execution block for Ms. Valentine's Day under the guise of the wanted Mr.3 to save her; there, he battled and lost to Hina and was secured for transfer into Impel Down, the maximum security penatentury for Marine prisoners. His fate beyond enterting this prison is unknown.
