Sky Sea

The White Sea is the first place the Straw Hat Pirates arrived on their journey to the sky. It is called White Sea because unlike a normal sea that consists of water, this sea is made up by clouds. The sea clouds of the White Ocean seem not to be as dense as the sea clouds in the White White Sea. Usopp fell right through the clouds while he was trying to take a swim in them. It seems that ships don´t have trouble to drift on White Sea clouds though.

The White Sea itself is the lower sea of the Sky Ocean. It is 7000 meters above the ground. And because of that the air is very thin there which gave the Straw Hat Pirates some difficulties at their first encounter with the natives there. So far it hasn´t been shown that the White Sea is used by the people of the sky for anything else then just navigating. The only two places ever seen there were the entrance to the upper level, the White White Sea and the exit from the White Sea. There´s no mention of any islands or other places where many people live. You could say that the White can be considered the Metro level of the Sky Ocean.

This is the upper one of the two known seas in the Sky Ocean. It is located at a hight of 10.000 meters above the ground. It is directly above the White Sea and connects to it through the Milky Road. The White White Sea is the place where the people of the sky live. The environment seems to allow that. Not only is there far more islands with inhabitants located there but also the sea cloud seem to be much more dense which allows the people to swim in them.
