The Blooming Fruit's Eater

Sometime before the age of 8, a young girl named Nico Robin ate a Devil's Fruit -- the Hana Hana Fruit. Her name should be familiar to everyone who has read the Arabasta story arc and beyond, as she not only was one of the major antagonists in that arc; she also became a major protagonist as a member of the Strawhats after the battle. Robin's life has been far from easy and, really, has been a fight every day for twenty-eight years.

The Hana Hana Fruit is regarded by some fans as unfair, and for a good reason. Its trait of being able to sprout from any surface (even the enemy's own body!) and having the advantage of numbers is more than enough to take down normal human foes, even superhumans. Large enemies, due to their size, are a greater difficulty to handle; and Logia Fruit users (Elementals) are naturally difficult because of their diffusion abilities.

In general the Blooming Fruit is a powerful weapon and, actually, fit to handle any number of regular people up to however many arms Robin is allowed to sprout. The argument of whether Robin would be able to take down Luffy/Zoro/Sanji is a common occurrence in the fandom.

Attack Notes

Fleur
- French for "Flower"; sprouts arms and hands equal to the number spoken (which, incidentally, is in Spanish)
Clutch
- A deadly multi-armed lock that can wholly disable an enemy, sometimes finished up with a succinct strike to the neck
Strangle
- Grows an arm around the neck of many people, strangling and disabling them
Twist
- A locking move along the lines of "Clutch," except one that mainly contorts rather than constricts
Hang
- Sprouts arms from a high surface and swings an enemy into a heavy object
Delphinium
- A type of Spanish flower; sprouts 100 hands and uses them to transport any opponent wherever Robin wishes
Flip
- Hurls an enemy by flipping them up and down with sprouted arms
