Suna Suna no Mi - The Desert Dune Fruit
The Desert Dune Fruit's Eater
Sir Crocodile was formerly a most-wanted pirate of the Grand Line, worth over eighty million berries. He took the commission of a Shichibukai and thus voided his bounty, and yet he had greater aspirations. It was Crocodile who masterminded the entirety of Arabasta's troubles over the past years, and it was he behind the scenes of Whisky Peak and Little Garden, as well.
The Desert Dune Fruit's Characteristics
- Class: Logia
- Eater: Sir Crocodile
- Powers Introduced: Chapter 170
- General Descriptor: Turns the eater into a one-man desert, able to create and control sand at will
- Viz Name: Unknown
Being a Logia has a tendency to make you cheap right off the bat, and Croc doesn't mess with that working formula. He's able to dissolve into sand when struck, as well as creating, controlling, and utilizing the properties of sand. Sir Crocodile was the first Devil Fruit user who really, truly had mastered his power, too.
With the Desert Dune Suna Suna Fruit, Crocodile could not only become sand, but he was able to take on its drying properties, as well. His weakness to water is the greatest Achilles Heel he has, and yet his right hand can suck up every last drop of moisture within the approaching water as he wishes. That aside, if he isn't able to see the blow he won't be able to either turn into sand or dry up its moisture.
