Drum Government

It is not much known about how long the royal family has ruled over the winter country Drum. The only thing that is known for kings of Drum that came before Wapol is that his father was the countries king before him and that he was a better ruler then his son became after him.

Eversince Wapol became the king, the people began to suffer under his tyranny. When the country was rampaged by the Blackbeard Pirates, Wapol and his entire royal staff left the country behind to save their own lives. From that moment on the people considered themselves free from Wapols dictatorship and made the first steps towards a new beginning. To make that clear they even got rid of the countries name and held elections to determine the new king of the country themselves.

However after some month´s on sea, Wapol returned back to the land because he expected the Blackbeard Pirates to be gone. He came to take back what was his. However the people didn´t want neither him nor his royal staff back as their leaders. They even were ready to fight for their freedom against their former king. But if it wouldn´t have been for the Straw Hat Pirates Wapol wouldn´t have been defeated. The definite end of the Drum Kingdom came when Wapol was defeated by the hands of Monkey D. Luffy.
