One Piece Volume 5 : For Whom the Bell Tolls

You can cast aside the sea, but it'll come calling for you eventually. You can deny your name, kill everyone who knows it, and still you'll die with it. And, of course, for he who seeks the pain of others, someday soon, his bell will toll.

This volume ends the Kuro-Usopp arc, and introduces the Baratie arc in the last three chapters of the volume (42-44). The translation is pretty good by Viz, though with the oddities of Kuro's attack name ([Shakushi] to [Out of the Bag]) and Usopp's mysteriously-switching Kayaku Boshi translation (here, Exploding Stars; then Gunpowder Stars; and then Exploding Stars again). Curses are, as always, cut, but the underlying themes remain untouched.
