Stage 3: Whiskey Peak (ウイスキーピーク)


A Trap Was Set Up!?
It's Baroque Works Again!!

At the first place, the "Nameless Village", you'll find yourself talking to a member of Baroque Works... Vivi finds this all very suspicious. At the next stop, there's another one. Oh man! You've hit the Baroque Works Branch Office! Pick up the Rhinoceros Game. Then go left and talk with the man at Whiskey Peak. Vivi tells you all to investigate the place a little more. Two more paths open up, so go left and speak with the man. One more path opens up. Pick up the Lizard Game by selecting the right icon.

Prepare yourselves before selecting the icon on the left. Once you do, Vivi will recognize Igaram's Henoheno Dummy Doll, and before long, Foxy will appear once again and challenge you.

Battle Stage: Defeat Hamburg!!

You've got 300 seconds, or 5 minutes, to complete this stage. When you meet a split path, take the right path by destroying the barrels. Keep going until you're forced to break down a mast. Walk over the fallen mast and you'll find yourself at another split path. The sign says, "Donuts Race to the Right". The problem is, is that this is a lie so don't fall for it.

Go left, where you'll see flying cannonballs and a red staircase. Ignore the red staircase for now, and dodge the cannonballs so you're going against it. They'll do 10 damage per hit, but do be careful since you still have to reach the boss. At the end you'll find a grey and green staircase. Take the grey one and break the mast. Go back down and then take the green staircase. Since the mast has fallen, it'll serve as a bridge to continute on, so break the next mast. Go back down the staircase, and return to the red staircase.

When you enter this new screen, be wary of the traps. They shine once every few seconds to let you know where they are. If you get caught, it'll cost you tiny damage, but more importantly, precious seconds. Taking the time to be careful is better than getting caught while you're rushing through. At the end, dodge the flying cannonballs and you'll find a sign with a blue chest. The sign claims that it's the goal, but it's another lie so continue forward. Break the barrels surrounding the staircase and go up to the final place where Hamburg awaits. Time to make Hamburg pay for wasting your time.

Defeating Hamburg is extremely easy. He'll bring out two metal bats and thrash around with them, then laughs. You can attack him at any time, but be careful when he attacks since he can turn right around and get you with 30 damage. After doing damage to him, he'll even try to kick you with his pointy toes.

But sometimes... Hamburg can be kinda stupid. He's one of the few bosses that can be hit while performing an attack. And so if you wanted to kill him slow, you could. You could, for example, stand there and Pistol him over and over again.

Anyhow, you're completely safe to approach him when he's laughing. He'll go down really quick. Watch out if you're running low on time.

Stage Clear!

Go back to Whiskey Peak. I wonder whose shadow that belongs to...?

The one named Igarappoi does not recognize the name Igaram. Vivi is shocked that even his memory has been erased. Pitting two memory-less parties against each other doesn't get you anywhere, but hey, you get to fight Igarappoi!

Igarappoi has a number of ranged attacks, so attacking from behind is best where he can't get you. The first phase consists of avoiding his bullets from his saxophone or his hair. It has a fan-like range so again, the back is wide open.

For the second phase, Igarappoi uses his saxophone to call upon some fighters to do his bidding. If you're lucky enough, your partner and the group of pirates won't move at all, which leaves you against Igarappoi. It's strange, but it happened once to me. Anyways, that's all that changed, so continue on with the fighting.

In the third phase, Igarappoi is able to play his saxophone to cover the whole field with musical notes. If you touch it, you'll get confused and your buttons will be switched. If you're able to quickly figure out which buttons have been switched, attack while he's vulnerable! Overall, Igarappoi is no big threat.

Stage Clear!

Igaram comes back to his senses and wonders what he's doing here! Vivi is glad that he's back to normal. They talk about the dream Vivi had which was about a boy... and it seems that Igaram had a similar dream. Igaram wanted to give Vivi an Eternal Pose, but it looks like he has misplaced it.

A lot of exclamation marks appear now. Go right and pick up the Morgan Statue. Go up and get the Ushimadara. It's a type of Sea King with spots on its body. Next, go to the left past Whiskey Peak and get the Conasshu. Keep going left to find a Pinwheel. Now, go down past Whiskey Peak to see Alvida's Pirate Ship.

Nami will get a boost in her stats since your completion should be at 30%.

Nami then remembers the contract she and Vivi made! To escort her safely to Arabasta for a lot of money!

Go to the top left corner of the map where an exclamation mark lays. It's a Minatomo stage...

Minatomo Stage: Solve the Mechanism!!

We'll label the box on the left as [A] and the box on the right as [B].

  • Push the [B] up 1x.

  • Go down and around [A] so you can push it right 1x.

  • Go up and around the [B] so you can push it left 1x.

  • Push [A] down 2x, and go to the other side of it and push it right 4x.

  • Push [A] down 1x so it lands on a panel.

  • Go to [B] and push it down 1x.

  • Go around to the left side of [B] and push it to the right 1x.

  • Go behind [B] and push it down 2x.

  • Push [B] to the right 4x.

  • Push [A] to the left 1x so it lands on the other panel.

  • Push [B] down 1x so it lands on the panel, completing the puzzle.

Stage Clear!

Head back to Whiskey Peak and talk to Igaram! It looks like Igaram has the Eternal Pose for you! The map clears up and a couple of places are open to you. You're also free to head to stage 4, but if you want to gather some important items, it's best to stick around.
