Unlock the Straw Hats' Third (C) Costume
At the title screen, press the following combinations in order to unlock the "C" costumes for the Straw Hats. You'll hear a sound at the end if you inputted the codes properly.

Unlock the Straw Hats' Fourth (D) Costume
After obtaining the C costumes, you must use the characters for 25 battles. They can be battles won from Grand Battle, Davy Back Fight, Event Battle, or tournament victories from the Grand Tours.
If you want to earn your 25 battle victories through event battle, just participate with that character 5 times. Since each event battle is worth 5 battles, you'll have your 25 already.

The Alternative
Unlock Shanks and Mihawk. With all the characters at your disposal, complete Training Mode with the Straw Hats. On details how to fully complete the training for each character, go to Unlocking Holy Land Mariejois.

Unlock Maxim
Clear Event Battle with Enel on any difficulty.

Unlock Holy Land Mariejois
Unlock every single character (including Shanks, Mihawk, etc). With every single character, go into Training Mode, complete their move list and knock down all the pillars. In other words, for a character's training to be complete, do all your techniques first, then destroy the pillars. The time that counts as soon as the first pillar falls will not affect anything.

Character Taunts
By pressing the + on your controller, a character will do a battle taunt. Some are actually quite useful for battle while others are good for appearance.
Luffy (Costume B/C/D) Takes hat off/Puts hat back on
Zoro (Costume A/B/C/D) Puts bandana on/Takes bandana off
Sanji (Costume A/B/C/D) Puts glasses on/Takes glasses off
Crocodile (Costume A/B) Reveals a poisoned hook/Covers the poisoned hook

Unlock Very Hard Mode
Clear Event Battle with at least 10 characters on Hard difficulty.
