Grand Battle! Rush - Stages

Menu Notes:

  • おまかせ → Random, whatever is picked will be the same stage
じゅんばん → Order, selects the order of the stages for each round
いろいろ → Various, changing the order of the stagess every round

Sexy Foxy (セクシーフォクシー号)

On aboard the Sexy Foxy, battle on a round, elevated area while surrounded by fans. Tubifex can be seen riding Tweetums while delivering as an announcer. Sometimes Pandaman will be seen hanging from Tweetum's talons!

At the center is a cannon that spins as soon as it is attacked, spitting out a total of 6 bombs at random areas of the small arena.

The wooden fence that surrounds the arena can be broken, which will open a path that can easily lead to a fall.

  • Big Pan - Standing nearby, Big Pan will occassionaly toss giant axes to the arena. If you get hit, you'll be dizzy momentarily. Otherwise, they don't stay there for long, but can be a real nuisance since they take so much space. Sometimes Big Pan will take a big sneeze. Can you guess who appears?

  • Pickles - Surprisingly Pickles appears from Big Pan's nose! He'll appear on the stage and use Spinning Tackle to inflict damage upon players who come near his blades. Spinning with two swords, he'll follow a character. If part of the fence is broken, he'll eventually spin to his doom and disappears, that is, until Big Pan takes another big sneeze.

Fusha Village (フーシャ村)

Luffy's home village, where the grass grows tall and the cows go wild.

Attacking the cow will cause it to run across the clear road, taking out anyone in its path who decides to gawk at it and not move out of the way. Making the cow mad will terrify the milker and will make Makino and Sonchou get out of the way.

Higuma and his bandits are back and will toss various items out in the field. Be careful not to get smacked by one.

The town signboard can be hit to make it spin like a windmill. Anyone who touches it will get smacked around.

The water below the bridge isn't deep, so anyone can walk on its shallow surface. Go far enough and you'll hit deep water.

Floating Sea Restaurant Baratie (海上レストランバラティエ)

One of the largest stages, the arena for Baratie consists of the outside of the restaurant, floating pieces of wood, and the remains of Krieg's fleet.

The huge mast that extends from Krieg's ship to Baratie can be hit to roll from one side of the stage to the other. It can push players away with force and even damage them if it rolls with lightning fast speed.

The wooden fence around Baratie and Krieg's ship can be broken after enough damage has been applied.

The wooden boards floating on the water (covers a half of the stage) can be destroyed by bombs or anything devastating. They regenerate after some time has passed.

  • Patty and Carne - This duo will sometimes soar across the sky in the Sabagashira #1 to prepare an attack. They'll help (?) by shooting cannonballs towards the arena. The cannonballs will break the pieces of wood floating on the water.

Arlong Park (アーロンパーク)

Rained on by bounties! Arlong Park is rendered to look almost exactly as its manga/anime counterpart. Surrounded by the mermen of Arlong's crew, you'll have to watch yourself if you accidentally involve them into battle.

The little hut on Mohmoo's right side can be broken.

  • Chew and Kuroobi - An attack to a fellow merman will cause Kuroobi or Chew to appear. In a quick flash, they'll use their signature moves to hurt you.

  • Mohmoo - Eyeing you as if watching food fight, Mohmoo sits in the water at Arlong Park, taking half of the entire arena. He'll submerge himself causing the little bit of concrete at his sides to be overflowed with water. If you're standing there, prepare to be pushed by the waves. It's possible to get back to safe, dry land by jumping. You can also jump on Mohmoo's back as a quick bridge to get to the other side. Mohmoo will sometimes award you with a piece of meat on his back.

Loguetown (ローグタウン)

Below Gol D. Roger's execution platform is where the fighting stage for Loguetown is. Rain and storm (presumeably caused by Dragon himself) don't seem to stop the pirates from enjoying the fight on the stage.

The Marines will try to throw a net upon one of the players during the fight. Watch for the Marine symbol flashing below your feet and run before the net is cast. It'll cost you a few seconds of immobilization if you're caught.

The pirates watching the fight will sometimes throw useful and harmful items on the stage.

A common occurrence is a lighting bolt that crashes down. Watch for sparks at the wall and be ready to time your jumps. The lightning ray appears and disappears while it sweeps from one of the stage to the other. Be sure that you'll either jump over it to be sure it won't get you, or hope that you're lucky that the ray disappears before it hits you and reappears to hit your unlucky opponent. Getting hit by the lightning causes damage and immobilization for a few seconds.

The metal rails that surrounds the arena can be hit, pushing them out but not breaking completely. This can cause an oval-shaped arena if so desired.

  • Alvida - Alvida stands out to the side until she is hit by anything. Once attacked, she'll use her Sube Sube Spur and slide around the area, taking out anyone who stands in her path.

Drum Castle (ドラム城)

Drum Castle makes a return from Grand Battle 3. Below through the window panes, you can see Dr. Kureha doing her usual things and Chopper if he isn't one of the fighting characters. Dalton is even conversing with Kureha sometimes.

The stage is covered by snow, which slightly causes you to move slower, but the snow gradually disappears as actions take place on it. Snowballs can be picked up and tossed at opponents provided there's enough snow in the pile. Lapahn occassionally hurl giant snowballs creating more snow on the field.

Jumping on the pointy gates will cause some kind of damage. Honestly, who would want to do that anyways...?

  • Wapol - He's there, in bucket form. He looks exactly like the time before turning into Slim Wapol. You can pick him up and toss him. Doing so will cause him to go forward in your line of path and he'll try to eat whatever's in his way. While bucket Wapol is on the stage, don't attack him or else his subordinates... (continues)

  • Chess and Kuromarimo - (continued) ...Chess and Kuromarimo will shoot arrows or spiked balls. They appear at the sides on the same rooftop. You can hurt them if you want to and knock them off the platform, but they'll get back up.

Arabasta (アラバスタ)

The desert land and kingdom that is surrounded by ruins. A large fissure sits at the side of the arena, and with constant dust tornadoes occuring in the arena, it makes this stage a dangerous place to fight.

Dust tornadoes aren't harmful, but they can be useful. Just touching it sends you high up into the air. One can make them larger by feeding them damage.

Sometimes, a piece of ruin will fall on the stage. It can be picked up and thrown like a regular item.

The ruins by Cobra can be broken if enough damage is dealt. Robin sure won't be happy...

The sand can be somewhat hard to walk in, but thankfully it only takes up about 20% of the stage.

Watch out for the fissure by the castle. Just don't fall in it.

  • Nefertari Cobra - Don't attack this king, because he can give you a powerful chop that sends you flying. Pell and Chaka will try to calm him down.

  • Vivi and Carue - Vivi will ride on Carue and jump into the stage at certain times. She'll bring a treasure chest and place it on the field for whoever is nearby. If she's harmed, she'll run away before dropping a treasure chest.

Maxim (マクシム)

Above the clouds the great ark Maxim flies. Under the moonlit sky, a team of giant Southbirds fly alongside the Maxim. Many of the Skypiean Enforcers stand by, watching those who duel on Enel's stage.

Maxim's rails on the eastern side can be broken so you can go even further to the east. It's very easy to fall off at this point, so be careful.

At the northeastern/western part of the ship are two little holes. It's possible to fall through here too.

The mighty gusts of wind occasionally blow to make it difficult to fight with your opponent.

Holy Land Mariejois (聖地マリージョア)

Holy Land Mariejois where the leaders of the World Government reside and the meeting place of the Shichibukai. It's the training grounds for the game and can become unlocked for regular bouts.

The pillars on the side of the stage can be broken. In Training Mode, as soon as the first one is broken a timer appears, including the time spent since the beginning of the training session. Destroy the rest of the pillars to stop it and complete the pillar activity.

Pandaman can be seen peeking out from the bushes near the three Shichibukai on the western side.

Tapdancer Lafitte can also be seen from a distance. He's beyond the western pillars.

  • Mihawk and Donflamingo - Attacking one of the two doesn't really do anything. They're so strong they won't be phased by anything and will just move to tell you that you got their attention. :) Bartholomew Bear quietly sits and reads his bible on the steps near them.

  • Guards - You probably want to go kick the Gorousei while they're just sitting there, watching pirates fight each other in front of them... there's something wrong with this image, but that's all right. Two guards also seem to be invincible and will just prevent you from harming the Gorusei, unphased from your attacks.
