Episode 246 and...246.5?

10/23/05

The good news is that episode 246 is out. The strange news is that it's half an hour long, and the episode only starts 10 minutes in. The first ten minutes are a recap, in which the entire water seven arc is summarized for your viewing pleasure. What's even stranger is that there is no opening for this first ten minutes of footage, leaving us to wonder if this is actually part of the episode, a completely separate episode, or just something random to fill the gap left after the sazae-san 60th anniversary special aired. Ah well, at least we get more One Piece. :D

Also, ending 16 premiered with this episode.

WE'RE BACK!

Well, we're finally back online and being updated for the first time in... has it been four months already? I apologize for the delay, but we've been unable to contact aftershock, our webmaster. If and when you read this, AS, please set the domain www.arlongpark.com to this address.

Since we've been gone, a lot of stuff has happened. KF recently switched to a new format called x264, which uses an mp4 shell and can be played independently with VLC or most players compatable with the codec. Anyone who is still downloading KF's avi xvid releases should be warned that, after episode 168, KF will completely stop releasing episodes encoded in xvid and all releases will be in x264 (mp4).

One Piece Volume 39 has been delayed to November, but 40 will be released in December, leaving us with a very One Piece Christmas. :D

The anime finally returns after a 4 week break, with episode 246 airing this sunday! :D It's been confirmed that there will be a new ending, but I'm hoping for a new opening as well.

Well, that just about wraps this update up. Unfortunately, I don't think this new site will have a comments section, so you guys can leave comments in the forum.
